has anyone here ever put a 98 dash in a fox body i was told it can be done with out to much work so i'm about to try and do it any tips you may have would be great thanks

Just got my 01 Cobra dash today and will be doing the swap with the steering column as well. I believe there is about an inch that needs to be cut off the back as well as the some trimming on the bracket. This is just from my mock up earlier though. I ll keep you posted when I get the details.

I have done this including using an 04 a/c plenum assembly. Its about 95% completed but it took some careful planning and quite a few R&I's. You have to cut quite a bit off the top edge of the dash. I will try get a thread started with some details on what I did. Till then feel free to email me with questions. Pm's might take me a bit longer to get to ya.
