I'm running a '98 Cobra 4-cam in my Fox and the thermostat housing has a slight leak. I won't be able to tell until I take it apart whether it's a crack or porosity in the casting (die-cast aluminum). One of my neighbors had the same problem on his '99 Cobra and the housing was cracked. Is this a widespread problem? It's a bit of a pain because I have to keep adding anti-freeze. I'm considering either having the housing powder coated to seal it if it's porous, or if it's cracked I could machine one from 6061-T-6 aluminum bar stock.
