I have a complete donor car .. 07 gt w/ a whipple.. instead of getting a tune etc... i would like to use the harness, cluster, and possibly the dash, seats, and anything else I can use to put into the 93 coupe.

has anyone done this here? any advice? pointers? .. is it worth it.. ?

The donor will have a lot of the stuff you need in terms of wiring and small parts. I've seen the S197 dash in a fox and it looks awesome, so I say go for it. That pressurized 3valve should make that coupe scream. What do you plan to do with the car?

thanks, i'll def give the dash a try.
i plan on putting some 15x10's in the rear with drag radials, some drag racing it but still be able to drive it around town

I'm intrigued by the 3 valve swap. there isnt any well documented ones on here. I originally wanted to do a 3 valve but the b head motors were way easier to come by. Take a bunch of pics. Keep us posted.

I was originally looking for a smashed up cobra.. or a mach 1 drive train.. found a few but I was waiting on selling the 88 vert so I would have the cash to buy it.. then this came along and a straight up trade.. and the only reason I did it was it for the supercharger and it only had 30k on the clock.. I figured it would be fun.. Here are a few more pics as i'm breaking down the 07 gt..

I plan on using everything i can from the donor car.. harness, seats, try the dash and cluster.. engine , trans, etc.... just ordered the 3v to 2v plates, and plan on getting a set of long tubes for a 2v, UPR k-member for the swap.

Working on getting the top half of the engine disassembled tonight, remove the supercharger, and some of the harness. Should have everything out by the weekend, i'll post some more pics in a day or two.

Finally finished stripping the S197, and the shell just went to the scrap yard. The coupes at the body shop and I should have it back by the 1st weekend in May. That gives me roughly 2 months to get it together, running , and ready for Mustang week

Thanks
wheels and tires are new, but all the body work and paint are fresh and ready to go
Engine bay has been smoothed out, coil overs, and i have been buying parts here and there... picked up a nice set of jba stainless long tube headers not to long ago.. and now the real fun begins

doesnt look like i'm going to make MW 15 with the coupe, but I will still be there.. The JBA headers i have will not work with the steering shaft. unless i rebend the headers.. So i just purchased a new set of MAC long tube.. well see how that goes. They are suppose to work with no issues other then using a spacer inbetween the kmember and the body.. which is no big deal.. well see what happens this weekend.

Which JBA headers did you try to use?
