you would have to measure it first.. Our stock drive shaft fit with an extension from Steeda..

same set up here... 2004 4.6 2v with a 3650 in an 86 coupe... 04 shaft fit fine.. could be half an inch shorter, but works fine as is.

and same with a 2004 4v, t56, in a fox, stock shaft no cutting

im running tremec 3650 with matching shaft went right in no cutting on the shaft. But you will need to modify the crossmember or buy the aftermarket kit made for the swap, i think roachedone bought the kit. I chopped my stock cross up and made it work.

I bought the offset cross member as you can see in the picture. I'm not sure if its the same for the 5 speed.

I modded my crossmember. Wasn't difficult.
