Has anyone done this? Any pictures? I'm going to have to run this setup, at least temporarily until I decide what to do about my manual Windows.

TIA

Yes. Depending on how you position the dash, you'll have to clip the inside pull release handle just enough to clear the corner of the dash. I have seen guys heat and bend them instead of cutting them. I haven't tried that.

Bill, since my car is completely stripped I'll have to ponder this a bit. At least I know it's been done. Thanks for your (continuing) help.

Anyone have pictures they'd like to share?

I know there are some pictures on this website just like these, but I didn't have any luck finding them again. These are decent examples:

I have learned a couple of things the hard way about putting the dash in and getting it to look right. First, if you plan to use the SN95 console, put it in first. This lines up on the e-brake and shifter and gives you a reference point. Second, if you can afford to take out the windshield, that also makes the final trim much easier. Neither is an absolute necessity. They just make it easier.

This is another options:

He trimmed his dash back far enough to allow the Fox handle to swing out.

That's great advice, Bill. Putting in the console first makes sense. I'm a bit concerned about removing the windshield. I know it would really make things easier, though. Anyways, I have time to think about it.
