I have a Lightning motor out of my truck that dropped a vaule guide and needs to be punched out and rebuilt.. I bought a wrecked truck to use for a donor awhile ago so i have lots of extra parts and wiring I will be attempting to drop it into a 92 coupe i picked up a couple months ago as soon as im done 5.0 converting the current coupe im working on now.. everything is pretty much figured out thanks to MM&FF project frightning but i am going to trying fitting some other kind of blower set up to not run such a big hood.. an 03-04 cobra blower doesnt fit on top of a 5.4 does it ?? I will keep you all posted with the project as it goes

I love the smoothed out engine bay. When I get started on mine I'd love to do that but I doubt I'll have the time. Nice work.

I am in the process of doing a 5.4l DOHC into my 85 with a single turbo and will get some pics up shortly when I can get some.

She's getting there and that pile of parts you use to have on the floor looks quite a bit smaller!

The pile of parts hasn't really gotten smaller just have moved it around because I needed the space to pull another car into my spare bay... Things have kind of hit a stall point due to my 2003 Cobra having oiling issues because of blow-by, since its my dd I am having to fix that before I can finish this project.

For those looking at doing this NA, supercharged, or nitrous applications will be MUCH easier than turbo due to the limited space on the passenger side for a forward facing header. If anyone does have questions feel free to ask, this is the second 5.4L DOHC swap into a 79-04 which all have very similar engine compartments.
